People’s Front winning parliamentary elections in Ukraine

The party is winning 21.93% of votes

KIEV, October 27. /TASS/. The People’s Front party led by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk is leading the elections to Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament), the Central Election Commission said on Monday after counting 75.09% of protocols from polling stations. 

The People’s Front is winning 21.93% of votes. It is followed by the Petro Poroshenko Bloc with 21.50%.

The party Samopomoshch led by Lvov’s Mayor Andrei Sadovy is scoring 11.10% of votes, Yuri Boiko’s Opposition Bloc is winning 9.62%, Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party - 7.39%, and Yulia Timoshenko’s Batkivshchina - 5.67%. 

The voter turnout at the Sunday early elections to the Verkhovna Rada was 52.42% At the previous parliamentary elections in 2012, turnout was 57.98%.
