BRUSSELS, October 27. /TASS/. Belgian Minister of the Interior Jan Jambon and Secretary of State for Asylum, Migration and Administrative Simplification Theo Francken received letters, in which an unidentified person threatens to kill them, local mass media reports.
It is reported that both officials received the same letter. It says that both of them will die unless they leave the country. The person who sent the letters did not reveal his identity, but specified he was an Islamic militant.
The threatening letters have already been brought to District Attorney Office. The Secretary of State for Migration asked the government for protection, while the Minister of the Interior refused to accept any security measures for his safety.
Jambon told reporters that this situation motivates to fight harder against radicalism.
