Voting turnout reaches 19.52% at early parliamentary election in Ukraine

The highest turnout in the Kirovograd region where 25.51% of people have already voted

KIEV, October 26. /TASS/. Voting turnout has reached 19.52% at the early parliamentary elections in Ukraine as of 1 p.m. local time, the Central Election Commission Secretariat said on Sunday referring to the territorial election commissions’ data.

The turnout is minimal in the Transcarpathian region with 12.20%. The turnout is reaching its maximum in the country’s southeast with 14.65% in the Donetsk region, in the areas controlled by Ukrainian security forces, and 13.07% in the Luhansk region. The turnout is low in the Odessa region with13.22%. 

The CEC notes the highest turnout in the Kirovograd region where 25.51% of people have already voted.

At present, 23.48% of people have voted in the Kiev region.

Voting proceeds at 198 out of 225 single-member constituencies. The data on the beginning of the work has been received from 30 territorial election commissions, the CEC said.
