KIEV, October 26. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko is personally checking the voting process at the elections to the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) in the country’s eastern Donbas region, the president’s wife Marina Poroshenko said at a polling station.
“My husband is in Donbas now where he went for a personal check so that all the people in the east could express their will and vote: both civilians in the liberated territories and the military who are currently on the frontline,” she said.
Marina Poroshenko said the president “will 100% vote,” declining to specify where he will vote.
The presidential press service said Poroshenko would vote at the country’s early parliamentary elections after 12:00 (14:00, Moscow time).
