No reason to lift Russia sanctions yet — Merkel

BERLIN, October 24. /TASS/. The European Union sees no reason to revise sanctions against Russia, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a EU summit on Friday.

Merkel said that EU leaders “do not see any possibility to discuss lifting sanctions at this time” as no sufficient measures are being taken to fulfil the Minsk agreements on the resolution of the crisis in eastern Ukraine.
