NATO PA to send 18 observers to monitor parliamentary elections in Ukraine

Earlier, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly sent its delegations to monitor the presidential and parliamentary elections that had been held in Ukraine.

KIEV, October 23. /TASS/. The NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA) will send a delegation of observers to monitor the parliamentary elections in Ukraine scheduled for October 26, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

“The NATO PA delegation will include 18 members of parliament of NATO countries and representatives of the NATO PA International Secretariat. The mission will be led by the deputy head of the Lithuanian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Mrs. Rasa Jukneviciene, who is also a rapporteur in the Subcommittee on NATO Partnerships,” the ministry said.
