PARIS, October 14. /TASS/. Talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his French counterpart Laurent Fabius are over. Their Tuesday meeting in the narrow format in Paris lasted for more than an hour.
The meeting was also attended by Russian Ambassador to France Alwexander Orlov.
According to earlier reports, the sides planned to discuss the Ukrainian crisis and the situation over Islamists’ advance in northern Iraq and Syria, and the situation over sales of French-built Mistral-type warships to Russia.
Earlier on Tuesday, Lavrov had a three-hour meeting with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
