MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Observers from the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) may take part in monitoring elections to Ukraine’s parliament without representatives from Russia, chairman of the international committee of the Russian parliament's lower house Vladimir Dzhabarov said on Tuesday.

“It is highly unlikely that representatives from Russia will take part,” he said, citing the results of the work of the commission for monitoring the situation in Ukraine.

He also said that Russia’s parliament did not plan to send observers to the Ukrainian elections. “First, we have not been invited and we never go anywhere without an invitation, and, second, I think it is not safe,” he told TASS.
