MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. Speaker of the Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin has declared at a meeting with Prime Minister of the Chinese State Council Li Keqiang that "Russia regards the developments in Hong Kong as China’s internal affair." "Russia is against interference into the situation by any external forces", Naryshkin said.

Demonstrations involving thousands of students who are demanding the resignation of the head of the Hong Kong administration Liang Zhenying and free democratic election have enetered their third week.

Despite mass protests, the authorities have ignored the protesters' demands and have no intention to talk to representatives of the protest movement.
