LUGANSK, October 12. /TASS/. Kiev for several days has been delaying the process of exchange of prisoners with the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), head of the republic’s People’s Council Alexei Karyakin told TASS on Sunday.
“The person responsible for failure of the negotiation process is Okasna Belozir, who has been making bargains for new numbers of prisoners to be exchanged,” he said adding the exchange had been failed for the fourth time already.
Former legislator of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament) Oksana Belozir has been negotiating exchange of prisoners of war on behalf of Ukraine’s authorities.
A week earlier, LNR’s official told TASS the lists were ready for an exchange on the “15 for 15” basis. However, the process was postpones several days running though LNR authorities were ready to be at an agreed place immediately.
