BRUSSELS, October 8. /TASS/. Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif will meet in Vienna on October 14, European External Action Service spokesperson Michael Mann said on Wednesday.

The meeting will be followed by trilateral negotiations with US Secretary of State John Kerry next week.

The purpose of the meeting is to resume the talks between the P5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) and Iran before November 24, the date by which the sides have to reach a long-term agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, Mann said.
