BEIJING, October 3. /TASS/. The premier of China’s State Council Li Keqiang is due to pay official visits to Germany, Russia and Italy on October 9-15, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
In Russia, the Chinese premier will co-chair the bilateral prime ministers' regular meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Late last month, Li met with Russia’s upper house speaker Valentina Matviyenko who arrived on her three-day visit to China. During the talks, the Chinese premier said Beijing seeks to strengthen cooperation with Russia in areas including trade, investment, energy, technology and culture. Federation Council Speaker Matviyenko said Russia and China are expected to reach a record figure of $90 billion in annual bilateral trade this year.
