TEL AVIV, October 3. /TASS/. Israel is ready to discuss with the Palestinians conflict settlement based on the US plan for the return of the country to the 1967 borders on the condition of “exchange” of some territories, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview to Israeli radio on Friday morning.

The American plan aimed at the peace process resumption has not been officially presented to the main sides of the Middle East conflict. Nine-month negotiations between Israel and Palestine were interrupted this year. The sides put the blame for this on each other.

Netanyahu also said “Israel has the right to object to certain points of the document.”

A number of Western countries have recently condemned Israel’s intention to enlarge settlements in East Jerusalem.
