Red Cross official killed in Donetsk shelling — DPR defense ministry

MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. The defense ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Thursday confirmed the death of an International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) official in the shelling of Donetsk.

“A Red Cross representative, Laurent Etienne, a citizen of Switzerland, born 1976, was killed,” Eduard Basurin, head of the DPR defense ministry’s political department, said.
