KIEV, September 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s government has allocated $540 million (seven billion hryvnias) to the National Guard, the government’s press service said on Friday.

“As the government realises importance of timely settlement of defence issues, it has allocated without delay from the state budget’s reserve fund almost seven billion hryvnias,” the report reads.

The country’s parliament (Verkhovna Rada) adopted a law on Ukraine’s National Guard on March 13, 2014.
