KIEV, September 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine will file an application for membership in the European Union in 2020, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Thursday.
“Today I’ll speak before the whole of Ukraine with my new program and my vision of reforms, Strategy-2020,” Poroshenko said at a congress of judges.
The strategy envisages 60 reforms and special programs, “which Ukraine will carry out so that we can file an application for membership in the European Union in six years,” the Ukrainian president said.
