Syria announces support for UN Security Council resolution on fight against terrorism

UNITED NATIONS, September 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Syria supports the resolution designed to fight international terrorism, which was adopted by the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, Syria’s permanent representative to the global organization Bashar Jaafari said at a Council meeting.

“My country confirms its support for the resolution adopted by the Council today, the work on which took so long,” the diplomat said.
