KIEV, September 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday signed a law that will abolish the value added tax (VAT) for defense imports, the national parliament said.

The law passed by the parliament on September 2 says that the tax holiday will remain in effect until the end of the army operation in the south-east of the country as well as during a state of emergency or martial law.

No VAT will be paid from tanks, armored combat vehicles with or without weapons, detonators, etc.
