Civilian death toll in Donetsk reaches 4,000 — DPR first vice-premier

DONETSK, September 22. /ITAR-TASS/. The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) estimates the level of civilian casualties at 4,000 during the operation in Ukraine’s embattled eastern region, DRP First Vice-Premier Andrei Purgin said on Monday.

“We mean casualties among militias and civilians,” he said. “This figure is not final and it will change because many people were buried without identification,” Purgin said.
