KIEV, September 22. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine has received “all that is necessary” in terms of military equipment from the United States and other Western countries, President Petro Poroshenko said in an interview with Ukrainian television channels on Sunday.
Focusing on the results of his trip to the US, he said Ukraine enjoys “the highest status” in defence cooperation with the United States among the countries that are not NATO members.
“We have machine guns, tanks, multiple launch rocket systems, missiles, artillery and all the rest that makes it possible to keep the front of such length,” he said. “We have got all we need - intelligence equipment, radar sets, equipment for surveillance and other equipment that will let us make our weapons dozens of times more efficient, modernize them,” the president said.
It is not only the US that offers such aid, he added.
