Donetsk self-defence, Kiev agree on 28-for-28 POW exchange

The time for the exchange is being discussed now

MOSCOW, September 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Self-defence of the proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and Ukraine’s military agreed on exchange of the prisoners of war on the 28-for-28 basis, a representative of the Donetsk committee on prisoners of war told ITAR-TASS on Sunday.

The time for the exchange is being discussed now.

On Saturday, September 20, the Republic and Kiev exchanged prisoners of war on the “38 for 38” basis. The exchange, which took place 60 kilometres from Donetsk, was observed by the OSCE mission. It was over at 18:35 local time (7:35pm Moscow time).

According to the decisions of the Contact Group, which met in Minsk on September 5, exchange of prisoners of war should be organised on the “all for all” basis.
