DONETSK, September 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Militias in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Ukrainian army exchanged 76 prisoners of war (POWs), 38 from each side, on Saturday, the ITAR-TASS correspondent reported from the scene.
The exchange took place in the area of Konstantinovka, 60 km south of Donetsk.
On September 14, the sides had agreed to release 73 members of the Ukrainian military and 69 militiamen. They were exchanged in the area of Konstantinovka, 60 km south of Donetsk.
Two days before that, the first official exchange took place: each side released 37 persons.
Under the agreement reached in Minsk on September 5, the warring sides are to exchange all prisoners of war.
