KIEV, September 16. /ITAR-TASS/. The Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) has launched the process of ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement (AA), Rada speaker Oleksandr Turchynov said on Tuesday.
“Today, we are opting for European future, and this is a firm and resolute choice,” Turchynov said.
The text of the law on the AA’s ratification was presented to the lawmakers by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and government officials are attending the Rada meeting.
