Opposition wins in parliamentary elections in Sweden

STOCKHOLM, September 15. /ITAR- /. The opposition parties (Social Democratic Workers' Party of Sweden (SDRPSH), Green Party) win over the ruling alliance (Moderate Party, Liberal Party, the Christian Democratic Party, the Centre Party) with a score of 43.8% against 39.3%, according to preliminary data. Voters turnout are 83.3% of the population.

"People of Sweden demand change,"  the leader of Sweden’s Social Democrats new Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said.

Fredrik Reinfeldt, current prime minister, conceded defeat and announced his resignation.
