MOSCOW, September 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Another meeting of the Contact Group for Ukraine is to take place next week, the UNN news agency quotes one of group’s members, former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma as saying.
“Another round of the Minsk meeting is scheduled for next week,” Kuchma said at the 11th annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy.
On Friday, September 5, the Contact Group for Ukraine met in session in Minsk to sign a protocol establishing ceasefire as of 18:00 local time of the same time and a twelve-point peace settlement plan.
The plan’s main provisions are the termination of hostilities and troop pullout, an “all-for-all” exchange of prisoners of war, and humanitarian aid to the southeast of Ukraine.
