BRUSSELS, September 11. /ITAR-TASS/. President of the European Commission (EC) Jose Manuel Barroso will visit Kiev, Ukraine's capital, on September 12-13, the EC press service said on Thursday.
Barroso, accompanied by European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, will meet with Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko on Friday and with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Saturday, the press service said.
The sides will discuss the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, the political and economic situation in the country, as well as Ukraine-EU relations, the press service added.
