He also said that contacts on humanitarian aid deliveries proceeded with representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The delivery of humanitarian aid “is possible only on condition of strict compliance with the norms of international law, under control of the Ukrainian side and accompanied by representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross,” he said.
The first batch of humanitarian aid comprising some 2,000 tonnes of foods, drinking water, baby foods and medicines was delivered to Luhansk on August 22.
