"At present, a monitoring of Ukrainian and Russian language TV channels has been conducted which has an informational and publicist character,” Artyomenko said.
The ban applies to Russia's First Channel world network, RTR-Planet, NTV-MIR, Rossiya-24, TVCI, Rossiya-1,NTV, TNT, Petersburg-5. Zvezda, Ren-TV, RBK-TV, Life News, Russia Today, Istoria.
Members of the National Council for radio and television broadcasts jointly with representatives of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry have already checked around 5,000 public places for compliance with the ban on re-translation of the Russian television channels. The checks were made at hotels, recreation centers, entertaining establishments and in other public places.
