TEL AVIV, September 9. /ITAR-TASS/. The Israeli Defense Ministry and US Missile Defense Agency have conducted a successful joint launch of a Hetz-2 anti-ballistic missile, the ministry said on Tuesday.
"The missile performed its flight sequence as planned. The results will be analyzed by engineers," the ministry said.
The launch conducted at an Israeli test range over the Mediterranean Sea was detected by the Russian Missile Attack Warning System, a Russian defense spokesman told ITAR-TASS.
