MOSCOW, September 09. /ITAR-TASS/. The Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) in a statement on Tuesday recommended Russians not to travel to Ebola-affected countries.

Another federal agency, Rospotrebnadzor (a public health protection watchdog) warns that the epidemic situation remains tense in western African countries - Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, affected by the Ebola-virus-caused disease.

Ebola outbreaks have been also reported in Nigeria and Senegal, Rostourism said.

Rostourism and Rospotrebnadzor recommend Russian citizens not to travel to the epidemic zone and remind tour operators and travel agencies that they must inform clients about the situation in West Africa.
