TOKYO, September 09, /ITAR-TASS/. Foreign Ministers of the Group of Seven plan to hold a meeting in New York at the end of September on the sidelines of a session of the UN General Assembly, and preparations for it are in progress now, Japanese government sources said on Tuesday.

The main issue the ministers will center on compliance with the terms of ceasefire in Ukraine and the further advancing of the peace process there.

The meeting will also look at the situation in Iraq.

The sources indicated that a conference of G7 heads of state and/or government is not planned for the time being because of difficulties in coordinating the personal schedules of leaders of Britain, Italy, Canada, the U.S., France, Germany, and Japan.
