5.2 magnitude earthquake strikes Iceland

No damage or casualties have been reported

WASHINGTON, September 05  /ITAR-TASS/. A 5.2 magnitude earthquake was registered in Iceland on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The earthquake was centred 238 km northeast of Reykjavik at a depth of 4.9 km.

No damage or casualties have been reported.
