DONETSK, August 31, /ITAR-TASS/. East-Ukrainian self-defense forces have encircled the airport in Donetsk but it is still held by the Ukrainian military and security forces, a spokesman for the regional self-defense forces told Itar-Tass.
"We've encircled the airport and its storming won't be an easy one, as approaches to it are obstructed by radio-controlled mines," he said. "Also, armed fighting for the airport may create risks for people living in a nearby township.
