KIEV, August 23 /ITAR-TASS/. Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk met with visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Saturday to discuss Ukraine’s energy security.
“Ukraine will welcome the participation of German energy companies in the development of Ukrainian energy infrastructure,” Yatsenyuk said, referring to the parliament’s recent decision that allows European and American companies to operate the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
