KIEV, August 21. /ITAR-TASS/. UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Valerie Amos during her visit to Ukraine will visit eastern regions of the country, a source of the UN representative office in Ukraine told ITAR-TASS. Amos' visit to Ukraine begins this Thursday.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s department for information policies, Yevgen Perebeynis, said Amos would meet with Ukrainian leaders and visit the country's eastern regions to assess humanitarian needs.
