Truck convoy with humanitarian aid for Ukraine arrives in Voronezh

The motor convoy is comprised of 280 trucks, carrying medicaments, food products, children’s items, diesel generating sets

VORONEZH, August 13. /ITAR-TASS/. The truck convoy with humanitarian aid for residents of Ukraine’s south-east escorted by Russia’s Emergencies Ministry arrived in Voronezh on Wednesday.

The stopover in Voronezh is needed for refuelling and some rest.

The motor convoy is comprised of 280 trucks, carrying medicaments, food products, children’s items, diesel generating sets for the population going through hardships because of Kiev’s military operation against separatist militia in the east of Ukraine. Residents of Moscow and the Moscow region raised funds for the humanitarian supplies.

The convoy has got into its second day on the route.
