GENEVA, August 11 /ITAR-TASS/. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Monday it was ready to help to organise a humanitarian operation in eastern Ukraine with the involvement, participation and support of all affected sides.
The ICRC also said that before starting such operation it needed to receive detailed information from Russia about the type and volume of aid, as well as transportation and storing requirements.
“…prior to the beginning of the operation, the ICRC should receive without undue delay from the authorities of the Russian Federation all necessary details concerning the aid, including the volume and type of items, and requirements for transport and storage,” the ICRC said.
