NEW YORK, August 10, 7:07 /ITAR-TASS/. The U.S. Air Force has delivered four new air strikes against the Islamic State militants in Iraq, the United States Air Force Central Command said on Saturday.
The U.S. military used drones and combat planes to destroy several armored personnel carriers and a truck, which, they claimed, the insurgents used for attacking peaceful civilians. In view of the critical situation in Iraq, U.S. President Barrack Obama on Thursday authorized the delivery of surgical strikes against the positions of the Islamic State militants in case there was a threat to American diplomats and military.
