“Any slightest opportunity should be used for the negotiating process for a peace resolution,” he said. “Like it or not, we’ll not resolve the problem without Russia” and “there is no military solution to the problem”.To overcome the current crisis, the country needed society consolidation, needed to “reduce degree of political confrontation”, fight corruption, support plans for a professional army and take measures to invigorate the economy, Tihipko said. The government should “immediately start seeking sales markets for Ukrainian products as CIS and Russian markets are closing.”
