Ukraine parliament to gather for extraordinary closed-door meeting July 31

KIEV, July 30, /ITAR-TASS/. The extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada (national parliament) of Ukraine, planned for July 31, will be held behind closed doors, the Rada press service said on Wednesday.

According to the meeting agenda, Defence Minister Valery Geletei will open the meeting. Then the Rada will consider the issue of the 2014 state budget cutting, amending the tax Code, reforming the Naftogaz Ukrainy national oil and gas company and the Crimean issue.

Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk will make a resignation statement at the end of the meeting.
