An airliner Airbus 330-200 has departed at 3.10 pm local time (7.10 am GMT) from the Wuhan airport and will land at airport Sheremetyevo-2 in nine hours, according to the flight schedule of the airline’s website. A return flight is due at 10.15 pm Moscow time (6.15 pm GMT) on Wednesday. Flights will be made thrice a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
This flight will connect directly Russia and central China. Local authorities hope “that opening of a new air route will promote development of relations with Russia,” Wuhan newspaper Chanjiang Ribao reported.
