Ukraine, Netherlands agree to protect Boeing-777 investigation

KIEV, July 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine and the Netherlands signed on Monday an agreement on international mission for protection of investigation of Malaysia Airlines Boeing-777 crash, Ukrainian state commission on the accident said on Monday.

Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans and Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman agreed to establish a commission of experts and police officers from the Netherlands, Australia and other countries whose citizens were aboard Boeing 777. The agreement is planned for ratification at the Ukrainian parliament on July 31.

On July 24 and 25, Ukraine adopted a number of acts with the Netherlands, including a memo of understanding about the crash investigation and an agreement about giving the Netherlands the right to investigation.
