The Council of the EU included on the black list on Thursday 15 more Russian and Ukrainian citizens as well as 18 companies and organizations that the EU believes to be responsible for the escalation in Ukraine. The names will be disclosed in the Official Journal of the EU later on Friday. The publication means the decision has come into force.
The sanction list now includes 72 individuals — officials, politicians, public figures and leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as two Crimean companies.
