Over the last two weeks of Israel’s Operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip, more than 500 Palestinians were killed and around 3,200 more were injured, medical services in the Palestinian enclave said.
On July 17, the Israeli military launched a ground offensive of the Operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip. The ground operation was preceded by massive artillery preparations and strikes from air and sea at the territory of the Palestinian enclave.
