VIENNA, July 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Iran and the P5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) are planning to coordinate the deadline for the talks on Iran's nuclear program, the head of the Chinese delegation has said.

The extension of the talks is supported by all parties, Wang Qun said on Friday.

However, he said, “The deadline has not been coordinated yet.”

“I hope that we'll coordinate it today,” Wang Qun said.

China is inspired by progress that the parties succeeded in achieving during the talks in Vienna, Wang Qun said.

At the same time, he said, “Certain disagreements remain. It is necessary to continue the work.”

The P5+1 is a group of countries which in 2006 joined the diplomatic efforts with Iran in regard to its nuclear program. The term refers to the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany, namely the United States, Russia, China, United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
