British Ambassador to the UN Mark Lyall Grant stated this to journalists on Thursday.
“It hasn’t yet been raised in the Council, but we had already been planning to ask for an emergency session of the Council to discuss the situation in Ukraine even before we heard the news. And that just makes that session even more urgent,” Mark Lyall Grant said in a statement.It is already known that there were 9 British citizens on board of the crashed Boeing, according to ITV.
