New military hospital to open in Donetsk People's Republic

According to statistics published by Ukraine’s Healthcare Ministry, 478 civilians were killed and 1392 wounded during the military operation in eastern Ukraine

DONETSK, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Healthcare Ministry and Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic are going to open a new military hospital in Donetsk, the republic’s news service reported.

“The new hospital will be opened soon on the base of one of the city medical centers. Its location will be chosen with due consideration of the place with most active military action in the republic”, the news service told ITAR-TASS.

According to statistics published by Ukraine’s Healthcare Ministry, 478 civilians, 7 children among them, were killed and 1392 wounded, including 104 women and 14 children, during the military operation in eastern Ukraine.

“Currently, 279  stay-in patients are on treatment in the country’s hospitals”, Ukraine’s deputy minister of healthcare, Vasili Lazorishinets, said on Thursday.
