KIEV, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. More than 30 servicemen who had participated in the military operation in eastern Ukraine were killed in the village of Zelenopolye in the Donetsk region on Friday, the Ukrainian Interior Minister's adviser Zoryan Shkiryak told a briefing.
"There is information about 30 dead, but I admit there would be more victims," he said.
Meanwhile, various Ukrainian agencies and media outlets report different casualty figures near Zelenopolye. The figures vary from 19 to 50 dead and from 93 to 100 wounded. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry confirms the death of 19 troopers. Ninety-three servicemen were injured, the ministry says.
