Agreements have been reached after telephone talks of Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida with French and German counterparts.
“The parties have confirmed the necessity of peaceful resolution of conflict and the importance of dialogue. And they have agreed to continue cooperation in resolving the Ukrainian crisis,” the ministry said, commenting on Kishida’s talks with Laurent Fabius.
“Japan as a member of the Group of Seven (the world’s wealthiest rich nations) will continue to play an active role in settling the Ukrainian crisis,” Kishida told Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
