Railway bridge blasted in south-eastern Ukraine

No casualties were reported in the incident

DONETSK, July 07. /ITAR-TASS/. A railway bridge above Sloviansk-Donetsk-Mariupol highway was blasted at around 11am GMT on Monday in east Ukraine’s Donetsk region at the settlement of Novobakhmutovka, the press service of Donetsk regional authorities reported.

A cargo train was going through the bridge at the moment of explosion. The bridge collapsed on the motor way. The traffic was blocked. No casualties were reported.

The motor road service in Donetsk region stated about the blast of another bridge across Seversky Donets River near the settlement of Zakotnoye in the Donetsk Region on Monday.

It was reported about the blast of one more bridge across Seversky Donets in the Luhansk Region on July 4. Three motor bridges were destroyed in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Maxim Burbak said.

The zone of active armed standoff between civilian militias and pro-governmental military forces is in Donetsk and Luhansk regions in south-east Ukraine.
